The Power of Pauses

Taking a look at a piece of work by Samuel Beckett, the group will be taken through different types of pauses, how to perform them and unlock their power.

What to expect:

We will learn about different types of pauses and how these can be used to great effect in performance. 

You will then be given a piece of writing by playwright Samuel Beckett that has little punctuation in it for you to apply this new knowledge too and for the group to see how different a piece can be depending on where and how you use pauses. 

This is a great class for those who enjoy script work, as often pauses are overlooked when performing.
